Six hours shaping stone in mid-relief
A full day working with mallet and chisel to create a raised Celtic knot. You’ll lower the background, shape the design so it stands proud, and sharpen the edges to catch the light. The work takes patience, but the rhythm of hammer and chisel makes the day absorbing.
This is the most popular course: long enough to develop technique and see real progress but contained enough to finish a complete piece in one session.
What’s included:
- Full-day session (10am–4pm)
- All tools and materials provided
- Maltese limestone block
- Raised relief technique instruction
- Finished mid-relief Celtic knot to take home
- Maximum 6 students per session
- Tea and coffee throughout
When: Tuesday–Friday, 10am–4pm (occasional weekend sessions for groups of 4+)
Price: £90 per person
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothes that can get dusty, closed-toe shoes
- Packed lunch, or grab something from Secret Cafe next door during the lunch break
